Gente Fina is looking for a Marketing Engagement Intern. Co-owners Abraham and Manny have a strong vision for what this role can look like, but more importantly, we’re looking for someone who can elevate our vision with autonomy and an entrepreneurial spirit. This internship will be responsible for social media management, audience outreach and engagement, and ideation for new marketing strategies. What we’re looking for: 

• Social media management experience 
• Strong project management skills
• Bilingual (preferred but not required) 
• Fluency in social media trends
• Knowledge of fashion trends
• Knowledge and appreciation of Chicago and/or Latinx art
• A team player with the ability to work independently
• Customer service experience 
• Mailchimp or other email campaign platform experience (preferred but not required) 
• Graphic design skills are a plus

Responsibilities include (but not limited to): 

• Social media content creation
• Marketing project management and calendar maintenance 
• Brainstorm and implement new marketing initiatives 
• Grow social media engagement and community presence 
• Respond to customer inquiries on Gente Fina social platforms 

The details:

Gente Fina is looking for this candidate to begin upon hire. This is a paid internship with a 24 hour work week. The internship is a three month hire with potential to extend the contract.
